Nasser al-Khelaïfi, the president of Paris Saint-Germain, will not be able to attend the UEFA Champions League match against AC Milan on Wednesday night.

He has undergone emergency knee surgery and will need to remain in the hospital for the entire week, as reported by L’Equipe. Despite his wish to leave the medical facility on crutches to be present at the match in the stands, this will not be possible.

It is also unlikely that Nasser al-Khelaïfi will be able to attend the Ballon d’Or ceremony scheduled for October 30th.

However, before the Champions League match, he was able to have phone conversations with Luis Enrique, the PSG coach, and Luis Campos, the club’s football advisor.

“Al-Khelaïfi was ready to leave the medical facility on crutches to attend the match in the stands,” the sports journal reported.
