Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is considered a legend at Paris Saint-Germain, revealed that he wasn’t initially enthusiastic about joining PSG.

He would have preferred to stay at Milan, but he was included in a package deal with Thiago Silva. However, he honored his word and went to PSG, ultimately having a fantastic experience.

In the interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Zlatan Ibrahimovic also commented on Lionel Messi’s arrival in Major League Soccer (MLS), where he played between 2018 and 2020. He expressed his happiness for the Americans, stating that they can now watch football again, as he noticed they had turned to baseball after he left LA Galaxy.

Zlatan also revealed that it was Ronaldinho who convinced him to sign with AC Milan before joining PSG. He mentioned that it was a difficult time for him at Barcelona, with the coach, Pep Guardiola, wanting to sell him. After a match against Barcelona, Ronaldinho invited him to join Milan, and Galliani, a Milan official, came to convince him. Zlatan had good relations with Berlusconi and appreciated the opportunity to find happiness again at Milan.
