However, Ronald Araújo and Raphinha are also on the lists. A transfer of one of these three key players would be “inevitable” for the club’s finances.
Nevertheless, Xavi played down the rumors over the weekend. “For me, de Jong is a key player. Nothing has changed, he is really crucial for me. He has been unlucky with many injuries but his level has always been excellent. I consider Frenkie a crucial player,” said the Spanish coach.
