The Bayern Munich club is considering the recruitment of Zinedine Zidane to succeed Thomas Tuchel next season. But is this possibility realistic?

With the imminent departure of coach Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season, Bayern Munich is actively seeking a new coach. While Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso seems to be the priority, the reigning German champions are also contemplating Zinedine Zidane’s profile. The former Real Madrid coach is reportedly open to the idea.

Christophe Dugarry, a close friend of Zizou, has shed light on this possibility. “Is he taking German lessons? I don’t think so. But then again, the German league is superb. The stadiums are full, the league is highly competitive… I think all coaches dream of coaching a club like Bayern. Guardiola, the best coach in the world, went there. It’s so well-organized, coaches have resources, there’s enthusiasm, and your work is respected… It’s absolute bliss!”

“I think it’s one of the perfect clubs for Zidane. The perfect club is Real Madrid, and he’s done it there, again and again. But does he want to go there? I have no idea,” said the RMC consultant.
