Jeremie Frimpong, the Leverkusen player, is in PSG’s sights. The right-back is a priority for the capital club. But there’s also Jules Koundé.

With Achraf Hakimi potentially heading to Real Madrid and Nordi Mukiele sidelined and up for sale, PSG could find themselves without a right-back next summer. The club is taking preemptive action and targeting Jeremie Frimpong from Leverkusen. The full-back is seen as a priority to strengthen this area of the team.

According to PSG Inside Actus on X, PSG has made its decision and will make an offer to Leverkusen at the end of the season for the defender. Luis Campos, the sporting advisor, appreciates his versatility. The player can also operate in central defense.

Frimpong priority

So, there could be a lot of changes next season. Leny Yoro is expected to arrive in central defense, and the right-back position could have a completely new face.

Additionally, according to journalist Ekrem KONUR on X, PSG is also considering Jules Koundé. “PSG and Chelsea are monitoring defender Jules Koundé and are considering making a summer approach to Barcelona,” assures this source.

Given Barcelona’s financial troubles, they might allow Jules Koundé to leave if an offer of €70-80 million arrives for the French player. It’s a significant amount, but if PSG sells Hakimi (for around €60 million), then the operation wouldn’t be so costly.
