Despite ongoing rumors and criticism linking Brazilian winger Antony to a potential return to Flamengo, the 23-year-old player will not leave Manchester United during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Having been recruited for a substantial sum of 100 million euros, including bonuses, Antony has yet to fully establish himself within the English team.
Antony’s agent, Jorge Nicola, has categorically denied the speculations, stating to the Daily Express that there has been “no contact” with Flamengo.
Furthermore, Flamengo’s president, Marco Bras, has ruled out any possibility of Antony returning at the moment, emphasizing that there is “no chance” of realizing such a transaction. Therefore, Antony will continue his journey with Manchester United, aiming to secure his place within the team.
