Chelsea fans may have been hoping for José Mourinho’s return to the Blues next season, but it seems that won’t be the case.

According to The Daily Mail, Mourinho’s camp has not been contacted by Chelsea since his departure from AS Roma.

Chelsea has officially stated that there are no plans to part ways with their current manager, Mauricio Pochettino, despite speculation about his position. Even if Pochettino’s position becomes precarious, José Mourinho is not at the top of Chelsea’s list for potential replacements.

Reportedly, Chelsea is considering Ruben Amorim from Sporting CP or Roberto De Zerbi from Brighton as alternatives. Meanwhile, José Mourinho, who turned down an offer to coach in Saudi Arabia, is still searching for a coaching position in Europe, but it won’t be with Chelsea according to current indications.
