PSG has laid out a plan for the post-Mbappé era, focusing particularly on massively reinforcing its midfield.

The news that Kylian Mbappé reportedly informed PSG President Nasser al-Khelaïfi of his departure has hit like a sledgehammer. However, the club seemed to anticipate this possibility, especially after the tensions of last summer.

“We are committed to putting the institution above all else. Plans are already in place for the arrival of new players. We intend to extend Warren Zaïre-Emery, whose contract runs until 2025 and who will be highlighted by the club, and we have the means to have a highly competitive team,” it was explained.

According to RMC, one or more world-class players will arrive to replace Kylian Mbappé. PSG could notably bolster its midfield with one or more players from this list: Joshua Kimmich, Bruno Guimaraes, or even Gavi.
