Aurélien Tchouameni, the Real Madrid midfielder, does not hold his Barcelona opponent responsible for his injury.

After being injured in the Clasico against FC Barcelona, Aurélien Tchouameni publicly defended his opponent, Gavi, by stating that the latter was not to blame for his injury.

“It’s not Gavi’s fault. I got injured at the end of the first half,” said the vice-world champion on social media, two days after his team’s victory over Barcelona (2-1).

This display of sportsmanship and respect between players sets a positive example of behavior on and off the field. Nevertheless, the French midfielder will be sidelined for 6 to 8 weeks.
