Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who retired from professional sports last summer, is set to return to AC Milan in a new role.

Ibrahimovic will be joining AC Milan as the Director of Marketing and Communication. According to reports in the Gazzetta dello Sport, an agreement has been reached between the Swedish football legend and the club’s owner, Gerry Cardinale.

Ibrahimovic previously played for AC Milan and left a significant impact, scoring 93 goals in 163 appearances for the club. Now, he will bring his experience and star power to the club in an off-the-field capacity.

The former player teased his return on social media with a “tic tac” message, suggesting that his return is imminent.
