Arsène Wenger, the former manager of Arsenal and current FIFA executive, believes that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will clinch their first-ever UEFA Champions League title this season.

Despite a somewhat turbulent journey through the group stage, PSG has managed to advance to the semi-finals of the Champions League. Wenger, renowned for his managerial prowess, sees PSG going all the way.

“Since the beginning of the season, I’ve said that this could be Paris’s year. We’ve witnessed a de facto final between Manchester City and Real Madrid. With one heavyweight eliminated, the two remaining favorites are Real Madrid and PSG. We must remain cautious, but I believe this could be Paris’s year,” Wenger stated.

However, nothing is guaranteed in football. PSG will first have to overcome Borussia Dortmund in the semi-finals, and then face either Bayern Munich or Real Madrid in the final in London on June 1st.

Wenger’s insight adds to the excitement surrounding PSG’s journey in the Champions League this season, as they aim to etch their name in European football history with a maiden title triumph.
