Luka Modric, who was previously a cornerstone of the Real Madrid team, has found himself on the bench this season, and he isn’t too thrilled about it.

He said, “I want to always play. I don’t want a break, I don’t want to take vacations. I want to play because that’s where I feel my best, and it helps me prepare for matches.” Modric is eager for regular playing time and doesn’t mind frequent matches, as he feels physically fit.

He also mentioned, “This situation could have some advantages for the future, so we’ll see, but I don’t want that. I want to play, and if needed, every three days, because I’m physically fine. It would be a different story if that weren’t the case, but I feel good physically and mentally, and I want to play.”

Regarding the attention surrounding his current situation, he said, “All that’s happening around me right now is normal. I accept it. I have to mentally prepare for this situation, accept it, and move on.” Modric’s comments highlight his strong desire to continue playing regularly, despite being used as a substitute this season.
