Tensions are rising between Daniel Riolo and the Marquinhos camp, sparked by the comments made by the RMC Sport editorialist after PSG-Real Sociedad.
PSG seemed fearful. For nearly 50 minutes, the Parisian team was paralyzed by the pressure. According to Daniel Riolo, this fear was emanating from Marquinhos.
“There is a real problem with Marquinhos in the Champions League. He plays, he’s got crap on his thighs,” said Daniel Riolo on the After Foot show on RMC. “He’s scared. Honestly, I don’t know, he always seems to be afraid when he takes the ball. The experience he has is a losing experience.”
“Do you think he’s radiant? Do you think he acts like a captain? I think he carries a heavy burden of past failures,” added Daniel Riolo.
The response from the Marquinhos camp was swift. Via his brother, who is known for his fiery rhetoric. “If you’re a man, say everything you said today to my face. Let’s see who’s going to crap their pants… I hope we’ll meet soon.”
