Olympique Lyonnais owner John Textor doesn’t seem concerned about the team’s poor performance after nine matches into the season, where the club currently sits in 18th place with only three points.
Despite the possibility of relegation to Ligue 2, Textor has told the media that he doesn’t take this situation seriously.
“I know you had to ask this question, but it’s comical. This team is not at risk of relegation. In no league, in no country, does a relegated team play like we did tonight. You don’t have that level of quality with teams facing relegation.”
