Erling Haaland, known for his low-key demeanor off the field, recently indulged in a luxury purchase: a rare sports car worth €2.5 million.

According to the Norwegian media outlet Dagens Naeringsliv, Haaland acquired a Mercedes AMG One, known for its hefty price tag due to its engine, which resembles the one used by the Mercedes Formula 1 team during the 2016-17 season.

This high-performance vehicle boasts a top speed of 352 km/h, although it may seem excessive for roads limited to 110 km/h in Norway or England. However, acquiring the car was no easy feat, as only 275 units were produced.

Haaland’s choice reflects his passion for luxury cars, joining the ranks of many footballers who share a similar fascination with extravagant automobiles.
