Cristiano Ronaldo, beyond his excellence on the football field, is set to invest 40 million euros in a rather surprising sector.

CR7 is transitioning from real football to the virtual pitch. The player will invest 40 million euros in the new video game UFL (United Football League). This move signifies his entry into the gaming industry, joining other football stars who invest in similar projects. For instance, Lionel Messi became a co-owner of the esports team KRU.

“We are thrilled to work together on UFL and create a fair, skill-focused game for football fans worldwide,” reads the official statement from UFL.
