The UEFA is already delivering, as PSG and RC Lens have received their initial payments for their participation in the 2023-2024 Champions League, even though they’ve only played two matches.

In mid-September, both French clubs received a portion of the bonuses allocated to the 32 teams that qualified for the competition’s knockout phase.

Each team participating in the Champions League, including PSG and Lens, received 14.8 million euros out of the total 15.64 million euros allotted in the distribution plan for participating teams. This means that the UEFA has already paid out a combined total of 473.6 million euros to the clubs. The remaining balance, 800,000 euros, will be paid in October 2024.

Furthermore, the coefficient ranking payments for the current season were settled at the end of September.
