They played together for years and now meet as former colleagues. It was polite, nothing more. Al Nassr against Al Ittihad, the scrutinized reunion of former Real Madrid teammates Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
“How are you?” Cristiano Ronaldo asks KB9. “Do you like the experience? Different, isn’t it?” CR7 remarks. To this, Benzema adds, “And you, how are you?” Cristiano Ronaldo responds, “Good, I’m calm.”
Is there room for rumors of a cold relationship, as has been speculated in recent days? Not really. Just two players who were colleagues, not friends.
