FC Barcelona, in their quest to raise funds, has come up with a novel idea: selling diamonds.
The football club recently added a range of new products to their official store, many of which are related to Camp Nou. These products include pieces of the net from the goal, a framed square of the stadium’s turf, a Camp Nou gold necklace, a Camp Nou gold pin, and even diamonds.
A half-carat diamond is priced at €2,500, while a one-carat diamond costs €15,000. FC Barcelona claims that these diamonds were created from the same carbon material as the old Camp Nou pitch, using sustainable and environmentally friendly technology.
Each diamond comes with a certificate from the International Gemology Institute, ensuring its lab-grown origin and providing details about its characteristics.
