Aston Villa is gearing up to revamp its logo as it approaches its 150th anniversary next year.
Founded back in 1874, Aston Villa will again change its logo. Aston Villa’s current logo, introduced in 2022, has failed to make the desired impact.
Despite having recently unveiled an entirely new logo in 2022, Aston Villa expresses dissatisfaction with its reception, citing that it “has not had the desired impact,” according to club sources.
Consequently, Aston Villa intends to re-engage with its fanbase to explore options for a refreshed logo that will make the necessary impact.
The club has already sought the counsel of its Fan Advisory Board and evaluated the current logo’s impact locally, globally, and commercially. Building on the feedback obtained from the previous consultation, Aston Villa will once again reach out to its supporters in the ensuing weeks to establish a lasting identity for the club.
The new logo will be featured on all official club merchandise, including match and training kits. Additionally, as a separate endeavor, a special emblem will be crafted to commemorate the club’s 150th anniversary. This anniversary emblem will play a central role in the club’s celebrations, paying homage to Aston Villa FC’s illustrious history.
