Sven Mislintat, the sporting director of Ajax Amsterdam, has been abruptly removed from his position with immediate effect.
This drastic decision by Ajax comes in response to his alleged involvement in a controversial affair, as reported by NOS.
He is accused of orchestrating the transfer of Borna Sosa from Stuttgart this summer for a fee of 8 million euros.
This transfer is said to have been carried out through a German agency, AKA Global GmbH, of which Mislintat is a co-founder and holds a 35% stake. Ajax did not hesitate to take immediate action in response to these allegations.
